HOW TO SURVIVE LOCKDOWN

1. THINK POSITIVELY – Sometimes we can’t control the situation but we can control how we react to it.

Notice and look for the small things that you are thankful for each day: WWW?

What Went Well?

Write down three things each day and see how the list grows. There are ALWAYS good things happening, we just have to notice them.

2. ACE FOR SELF CARE

A – ACHIEVE something EVERYDAY, no matter how small (a chore, making your bed, brushing your teeth, going for a walk)

C – CONNECT with someone EVERYDAY, either in person, by phone, or social media.

E – ENJOY – do something you enjoy EVERYDAY – HAVE FUN!

3. DOWN TIME FOR ME – chill, relax

What does your down time like? If you could draw it, what would it be a picture of? Circle ideas that you might try, or add some of your own.

* Music * YouTube * Writing a story * Drawing * walking * Sleeping * Taking a shower * Meditating

* Reading * Colouring * Cooking * Singing * Dancing * Kicking a ball * *

4. BE KIND – Help some-one

Who do you know that would value some help from you? A young person, an old person, a family member, a pet? When we give, we feel good. It is a two-way gift.

You may already be helping people. Jot down below who you already help, or would like to help and how:
