Homework

Homework is an important part of preparation for the many assessments’ students will complete at Ōtāhuhu College, especially leading into NCEA.  All students in the Junior School should be doing at least 1-hour worth of homework each night. If your child has not been given any formal homework set by staff then they should read over the day’s notes, read a book (of their choice from our school library) for half an hour, watch a class topic related documentary, prepare for the next school day and/or have a conversation with You about their school day. Getting into good routines now will build a solid foundation for study in the Senior School.
