From Dr Hardy: This week we visited the garden and explored decomposers in the compost and explored why fungi are found under trees and what their role is. Students got a New Zealand organism and had to construct food chains from these. We are currently looking at Ecology and it was good for students to learn about our native fauna and flora and understand how they interconnect and what happens if one is removed.
