Our Junior Social Studies classes took part in their own elections as part of their unit on Systems of Government. Students learned a lot in terms of the different political systems and in particular how democracy works. Mrs Rogers 10B class took part in this process.
A big push was to also get our students to engage with their families in terms of understanding the different political parties and their policies so they can make an informed decision on how they vote. Be interesting to see the results
