At Otahuhu College subjects which lead onto university are marked with a U, for example SCI1U is suitable for students contemplating university. To gain University Entrance students need to gain 12 credits in each of three university approved subjects (subjects ending in 3U), as well as getting Level 3 and their UE literacy requirements.
